I’m moving to Baton Rouge soon, and in the purging and packing process, I found business cards for almost every job I’ve ever held as a professional designer and marketer. The only one I’m missing in all of 20 years is St. John Fisher College (not even sure the “webmaster” even had business cards at Fisher). I thought this was a fun alternative look at my “resume” over the years.

My business cards over the years

  1. I wake up when I am finished being tired. I no longer set the alarm clock.
  2. It only takes me 60 seconds to get to work. No traffic stress.
  3. Showering and shaving is optional before noon on most days.
  4. The dress code: Bunny slippers, comfy t-shirt, and flannel jammy-pants.
  5. The owner is very nice.
  6. I choose who I want to do business with. I like working with nice people.
  7. I can work at the boathouse, or where ever else I want. France, sounds nice.
  8. I now have a very flexible and very liberal expense account.
  9. Generating a good income no longer weighs on my mind. I simply make as much, or as less, as I want. Eliminating that stress from my life was worth the leap in-and-of itself.
  10. Tons of Fun. I get to *do* and learn about new cool stuff everyday.
